Zentangle
101
Learn the
history and the basics of Zentangle - a relaxing form of meditative art that
uses structured pattern making to focus your mind. No art or drawing experience necessary in
this process of simple strokes which build on each other in magical ways One
Stroke at a Time.

102 Prerequisite: Zentangle 101
Go beyond
the original Zentangle “black on white” process. Using black fine art paper
Zentangle tiles, we will explore how the technique translates to white on black
applications. You will learn to showcase the beauty of white ink on a black
background as well as the specialized techniques of shading and highlighting
used with these unique art materials. Bring
your Zentangle mini kit.

103 Zendala Prerequisite - Zentangle 101
Expand
your tangle understanding of how to add depth, dimension and shading to make
your artwork stand out. Improve drawing
skills circle that symbolizes the cycle of life, wholeness, continuity
and harmony. Move into a mindful focus and create a unique Zendala which is a
mix of Zentangle and mandala. Bring
your mini kit and any other tools you may have enjoyed along your journey.

104 -
Zentangle Inspired Art Prerequisite - Zentangle 101
Think
outside the 3.5 x 3.5 inch tile. Use
tangles on anything other than the original Zentangle tile. You will tangle inside a larger line drawing. We will create an abstract image using
stencils, jar caps, cut cardboard templates and anything else that strikes your
fancy. There will also be a few more
tangles to learn. Explore creating with
tangles on a larger format. Bring you
Zentangle mini kit from Zentangle 101.

Workshop No Prerequisite
This one
day workshop will include above mentioned classes 101 and 102. Class will start at 10am sharp and end at 4pm.
There will be breaks and a one hour
lunch. The minimum for this class is 3 students.

Power Workshop No Prerequisite
This two
day workshop will include the four above listed classes. Each day will start at
10am and end at 4pm. There will be breaks and a one hour lunch each day. Our
food court has much to offer or you can bring your own. The first day will include a homework
assignment that I know you will enjoy. The minimum for this class is 6
students.

NEW Zentangle Club Come share your work with
other tanglers. This 2 hour meeting will
include some and maybe all of the following: receive help with tangles and
processes like shading you will have the opportunity to share your beautiful
creations you will learn a couple of the newest tangles how to create a tangle
from a pattern seen in your environment and more.
Bring your supplies, a note book, your
beautiful creations and an attitude of sharing and fun.

Classes At Plano Senior Center
Artist Trading Cards - Create fun
small pieces of art (2.5x3.5) that can be collected, traded or given as gifts.
All supplies included. We’ll work on
multiple pieces at a time and learn some easy, creative techniques in the
process. No talent required.
Mandala Making- come learn the easy
process of making a mandala that you can later color.

Host
a Zentangle Party at Your Home or Office
Invite
your friends, family, book club, art group, social club, church group, etc. for
a fun and relaxing night of something new!
The instruction and drawing portion
takes approximately 3 hours. $35.00 per person includes drawing supplies needed
to complete the artwork. A minimum of 6 people is requested. All supplies
included for the actual art.
You supply any snacks and/or
beverages.
